12/1/2012 At this time I am not able to accept new custom orders for dulcimers. In recent months I have expanded my business into other areas. I simply don't have enough spare time to keep making new custom order dulcimers. I will still make non-customs as time allows and will have them availalbe for purchase here on my web page or on eBay.com or Etsy.com

2/09/2009 I am now offering a more economic solidbody electric (Electric Teardrop) dulcimer. Priced at $250. Body is made of Fir with a few options for the strum guard and accents. 2 single coil pickups with tone and volume controls.

10/15/2008 I am now offering a Traditional style Teardrop dulcimer.

In addition to my standard size dulcimers, I am now building and selling a smaller version, and a solid body electric version...

The "Juniors" measure approximately
25" long, 7" wide, 1.5" deep (not including raised fingerboard) and are tuned an ocave higher than standard dulcimers.

They have a beautiful sweet high voice.

The sound sample has three sections, 1st showing example of playing with a noter and pick, 2nd playing a finger plucking style, and 3rd a combination of fingering and strumming with a pick.

Terry is really making his mark bringing the classic mountain dulcimer sound to the Hawaiin islands. His music is a mix of these two styles and makes for a sound I'd never heard before. I enjoy listening to his CDs often.
